How the Border Crossing Works
Most trips cross at Blaine, using the Peace Arch crossing or the Pacific Highway crossing, whichever has the shorter wait. You stay in the car while we wait in line, then the officers check everyone’s documents and may ask a few questions.
Wait times change through the day and are longest on holiday weekends and summer afternoons. Your quote includes one hour of border time in either direction, and we check the live border wait times before we set off.

U.S. and Canadian citizens can also use a NEXUS card, a U.S. passport card or an Enhanced Driver’s License, and visitors from some countries also need a visa.
